About Tara

I'm Tara Rood, I been working as a registered dietitian for almost 20 years and as certified diabetes care and education specialist for over a decade.  

 

My passion is to help people living with diabetes manage their blood sugars by making realistic lifestyle changes.   Whether you have had diabetes for 10+ years or you are newly diagnosed, if you are feeling frustrated with where to start to lower your blood sugars, decrease your A1C and struggling to lose weight, look no further!  

 

Together we will focus on the whole picture (nutrition, activity, stress, water intake, medications, etc.) to create a personalized plan that will work to help you live a healthy, fulfilled life with diabetes.​
